Lately I’ve been feeling inspired by Pantone’s Color of the Year, Greenery. It is a bright, and vibrant green that is able to cheer anyone up. Greenery is a representation of renewal, restoration, and new beginnings. So for the first color of 2017 in the colored interiors series, I chose the color green. Shades of green to be more exact.
Although, I do love this shade of green. I have to admit part of me is not over last year’s Pantone Color of the Year – Rose Quartz and Serenity. I do hope that Greenery places an emphasis on sustainability and our continuous changing environment.
Taking all of this into consideration, I have chosen the color green for this set of interiors. All these interiors range in shades of green, but nevertheless are stunning, and can serve as inspiration.
Mondrian London Hotel
Elegant emerald green walls with matching furniture. What really makes the room pop and stand out is the gorgeous contrasting pink seating area. The contrast of the colors really sets a fun vibe.
Barrows Office Space Design by Ghislaine Vinas
Look at the print in this interior! A print is an easy and effective way to decorate a wall, or a room. The leaf print adds so much life and motion to the room. The solid green stairs are a good balance to the room.
Spiegel Publishing House in Hamburg
This interior is closer to Pantone’s Greenery, maybe even served as inspiration? The house constructed in 1969 has various colored interiors. This particular room is very interesting. The curtains are a clever way of adding color to the walls. The ceiling is amazing too!
